I played violin as a child, but soon became tired of it because I didn't feel like any of the songs that I learned were fun, or age appropriate. Now, I LOVE playing! Alison has put together a fun and doable list of songs that really boost my confidence level as a re-learner. I love the baroque pieces,... March in D major, in particular. I can hardly wait for my practice time!

I have completed the first ten YouTube lessons and then I purchased the song book one, I highly recommended for any begginer, I believe is good choice before moving to lessons 11-20.

nice progression in skill, sounds better when you add the vibrato, as when you demonstrate - beyond my skill to add this.

This book is ideal for beginners after covering lessons 1-10. The pieces are easy to play but do sound impressive which gives you a lot of motivation to continue your learning!
