Learn to Play the Violin books 1-31

I only recently started to watch Alison Sparrow's YouTube videos on playing the violin. I play the guitar, clarinet and piano (a little bit) but was told by my cousin who plays the violin that it is the hardest instrument to play and to stick to the guitar. Well, that made me want to play the violin even more. I was happy to find Alison's YouTube channel. She suggested the song book I but only after viewing lessons 1-10. I bought the book even though I am only at lesson 6 now. So far, so good. I think it was a good purchase. I like the fact that the songs in the book are linked to videos that Alison has made. They can be heard as she demonstrates by playing the song. I think it is a great concept. I can't wait to get to that point where I can access the songs in the book. She is a very gifted teacher and she has found a follower in me. I don't think I will be giving up on the violin. So far it doesn't seem to be giving me any problems. I will definitely be buying more of her publications in the future.

I am an newbie to the violin, and I am absolutely loving learning via the YouTube tutorials and being able to print all the material I need. I am looking forward to getting to lesson 10 so I can have a go at Song Book 1. Thank you so much!
