Really useful package if you want to learn to play the piano. I find the videos and books a great help. Also there is an email helpline. Would highly recommend.

Having given up the clarinet after thirty years because of lack of puff I thought of piano but living in the middle of the Kielder forest the nearest piano teacher is some thirty miles away so after much research I hit upon Alison's site through Normans music who I brought the Axus piano from on the strength of her review on same. Already on lesson eight as I can read music except the bass cleft ( no use on clarinet ) and it's going well, very well explained, not too much theory all at once and at the current rate of progression hope to get to the songs I played on clarinet in a couple of years. I would say it's the program for a complete novice as so well taught and if I can pick it up at nearly seventy then a younger person should fly through it. The cost is only about two and a half hours of piano lessons, many, many thanks Miss Sparrow.

This was the best set of piano lessons I've found. Alison Sparrow is a great teacher.

I looked around on-line and on YouTube for some self taught piano lessons, and while there were choices, I selected Alison's course's as I thought she offered the best "from scratch" beginner piano lessons. And I was not wrong. Easy to follow and thoughtfully prepared, I am having no difficulty following along. I am grateful to Alison for the Lessons. I urge anyone who want to lean the piano on their own, in their own time to get this program. It's worth every penny. Such a great bonus to get all the material and to be able to download all the videos to watch off-line.
