Learn To Play The Piano Book 1 | (Download Only)

I did have some piano lessons in the late 70s and early 80s but never learnt the notes nor grasp the music well enough I'm now nearly 50 and thought i would like to learn properly. The book is well presented and reasonably priced,the text is clear with large music scores, numbering and note letters are a big help especially when trying to play with both hands, there is a gentle introduction to the theory and practice especially when you reach the practice pieces; i have progressed quickly with this book; Allison has that natural ability to teach despite having many years of being a musician I'm glad i came across her, her youtube videos are brilliant and well thought out and structured but she could do with some overhead contraption to mount her camera above her piano a bit cumbersome sometimes. Nice one Allison keep up the good work looking forward to moving on to book 2.

This has been a great guide for a person starting to learn the piano, especially for an adult who has never played a musical instrument before.

I am a complete beginner but am thoroughly enjoying learning to play the piano. The lessons are clear and uncomplicated and broken into comprehensible sections. I’m doing little but often as that suits me best.

This is a fabulous tutorial and I'm absolutely loving it. Easy to follow, well written and very enjoyable. I can't recommend it highly enough. I'm a self-published author and do my own water-colour paintings as illustrations, play a bit of guitar and write my own songs, some of which are on YouTube. Learning to play the piano seems a natural next step, at least to me. As of 29/10/2016, I'm 66 years old.
